Did we mention that most are dermatologically tested, too? We only use ingredients that we consider safe for the skin and are proud that so many products in our sun care collection are clinically proven to be kind to sensitive skin.

Broad-spectrum
We protect against more than just sunburn. All Green People sun creams are broad-spectrum, effectively shielding against ageing UVA and burning UVB sun rays.
How do we achieve this? The physical mineral filters we use are Titanium Dioxide and non-nano Zinc Oxide. These work by physically reflecting UV rays to prevent UV radiation from reaching the skin's surface.
Some Green People sun creams also feature organic Edelweiss, which is a natural UV booster.
Other filters we use include Isoamyl p-methoxycinnamate, which comes from the cinnamon tree, and Diethylamino Hydroxybenzyl Hexyl Benzoate, which protects against UVB.
Antioxidant-rich
Every Green People sun cream bottle has a moisturising base made with antioxidant-rich Aloe Vera. Gentle on the skin, this soothes and softens with skin-nourishing vitamins and minerals.
And Aloe Vera is not the only antioxidant we use. Edelweiss Extract, Rosemary Extract and Green Tea all make it into our sun care formulas and protect your skin cells from free radical damage. Read more about the benefits of antioxidants in sunscreen.
Water repellent
Need your SPF to be water repellent? Our organic plant oils, plant-based waxes and emollients repel water but allow the skin to breathe.
Perfect for protecting against prickly heat, our non-pore clogging formulas also allow sweat to escape the skin.
No Oxybenzone
We care as much about the ocean as you do! To help make our sun creams ocean-friendly, we refuse to use Oxybenzone, Octinoxate and Octocrylene.
